Gentry went to live with a foster family 9-6, to get out of the heat and help him thru the loss of his partner Montgomery being adopted.  Turns out he is house trained and uses the pet doors. He really enjoys being inside where it's cooler. He gets along great with all the other dogs, even one particularly annoying little foster sister that yapped at him continuously for the first 24 hours. His temperament is really outstanding. If you  are looking for a dog who will hang on your every word, Gentry may be the dog for you! He is attentive and looks to people for direction. This big love really just wants attention from people – as much as you are willing to give. He has shown no interest in toys and doesn’t seem to plunge into the wading pool, even with it being so hot. Gentry could still use some leash training but does walk pretty well. He also doesn’t seem to have any interest in cats.
