Mabel and Jackie Robinson were surrendered due to the property being sold where they resided. They have lived together for approximately 3 ½ years. They are gentle and have good social skills with people. Mabel seems to get along well with other dogs, however, Jackie is not as enthused with other dogs unless it is Mabel. Staff has referred to him as the “grouchy old man”. With him being a bit older, he does not care for the “young whipper snappers” all up in his face. They have been around children, ages 10 and up but do not seem to enjoy the company of cats. Both are available separately but If you have room for two, Jackie would really enjoy staying with Mabel.
