Couscous update: He went to a foster home where he received the spa treatment, including a well deserved bath and has the softest hair now. He's great on a leash, would absolutely love to sit in your lap, walks gently by your side, loves to go for car rides, and is working on house manners and sleeps great in a crate at night. He is very happy with dogs about his size but quite afraid of large dogs right now. He's friendly and learning to trust more people.
Couscous, Caddy and Carob came to us together. They're friendly and love hanging out together and playing. Volunteers and staff are working with them to gain more confidence. Ritzy Rescue and Posh Puppy are programs created by CVRR to feature Purebred and Designer dogs. Many of our purebreds are rescued from local puppy mills; some are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. All of our Ritzy and Posh dogs are in need of loving, nurturing homes. Many of them come to us with a serious lack of socialization, malnourished, unvaccinated and desperately in need of grooming and dental care. We place them in foster homes, attend to their physical and emotional needs and begin the process of finding suitable forever homes.
