Little Jewel has a truly heart-breaking story. Just weeks before Christmas someone took Jewel to the middle of an orange grove and left her with a tiny doghouse, a furry blanket and a bowl with enough food for a couple of days. It's a miracle that she was found - unharmed, but terrified. The local people fed her for about 10 days, then contacted us and we immediately came to her rescue. We now have her in foster care and she is starting to feel a little more confident. She needs a special home to help her forget the terror of being alone in that grove!
