Nemo is a very special boy. He was in our program as a baby and we thought he had found his forever home- but that was not the case. He is back with us now and doing very well in foster care. He has a physical abnormality; his left front leg/foot never fully developed. The vet believes that he can lead a perfectly normal life- no extreme exercise regimen - without pain or difficulty. He has certainly learned to adapt to the shorter leg and is actually very athletic. He, like his namesake Nemo the fish- is just looking for a family to love him and accept him the way he is. He needs a home where he will have another mellow dog to play with - even a cat would be fine with Nemo! He also gets very attached to his people and would do best in an active home where he gets lots of attention. Nemo is house-trained and loves children.
