Willa was part of a breeding pair and was retired. Willa is looking for a quieter home with lots of love and people time.
She came to us in December and was immediately adopted into what we thought would be her forever home. Unfortunately her new mom found a new beau and Willa was no longer wanted. We still don't know exactly why she was returned. We are going to be even more careful this time in placing her- she certainly doesn't need any more upheaval in her life. She came back to us over weight, so she evidently wan't getting much attention or exercise. We are working on her getting her back into tip top shape. She is such a gentle, loving soul and will be a wonderful addition to your family.
Ritzy Rescue and Posh Puppy are programs created by CVRR to feature Purebred and Designer dogs. Many of our purebreds are rescued from local puppy mills; some are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. Designer dogs (blended breeds of highly desirable breeds) are sometimes found in local kill shelters, surrendered to us by backyard breeders and occasionally just dumped off near our foster homes.
All of our Ritzy and Posh dogs are in need of loving, nurturing homes. Many of them come to us with a serious lack of socialization, malnourished, unvaccinated and desperately in need of grooming and dental care. We place them in foster homes, attend to their physical and emotional needs and begin the process of finding suitable forever homes.
