Petite little Kiwi was hiding in the corner of a valley shelter kennel when we found her.  She really wants to be friends but is just too uncertain to initiate contact- once you pick her up she just melts!  She was adopted for a few weeks by a family with a teenager who wanted a little dog, but because she is so shy they are not going to keep her. We really need to get it right this time and place her in a home with someone who will be patient enough to let her blossom on her own schedule.
